Several of IAMCR's sections and working groups will be holding online elections in 2025 following the Section & Working Groups Election Rules. They are listed below. Note that many of them are having partial elections, with only one or two chairs/vice-chairs being elected while other chairs/vice-chairs continue in the current mandate.
The elections will be held online from 7 to 21 May using the SurveyMonkey platform.
Individual members and representatives of institutional members in good standing, who are also registered as members of the Section or Working Group by 5 May are eligible to stand for a position and to vote. Log in to your IAMCR account to see or change the sections/working groups you are a member of.
The call for candidates is now open and applications will be received until 4 April. Click on the links below to read the call for candidates of each Section/Working Group scheduled to hold elections.
Informative session: Exploring Section and Working Group head roles
To help members learn more about the Section and Working Group head roles for the 2025 elections, a Zoom meeting was held on 26 March, where potential candidates heard directly from current and past leaders about their experiences, with space for questions and answers. The initiative aimed to provide clarity and insight into these leadership roles and was open to all IAMCR members, with a particular focus on those considering their first leadership position.
