IAMCR Webinars are organised by members, with the support of IAMCR’s thematic Sections and Working groups or its Committees and Task Forces.They can include roundtable discussions, paper presentations, book launches, interviews, etc. If you are an IAMCR member and would like to organise a webinar, read this information carefully.
Webinars will be held from September to June.
Applications for webinars in the IAMCR series must come from one of the association’s thematic sections or working groups or from one of its committees or task forces. If you are a member of IAMCR and want to propose a webinar, your first step is to ensure you have the support of an eligible body. Contact the chairs of the appropriate Section, Working Group, Committee or Task Force. Together you will have to complete and submit a simple application form.
Who can participate?
Webinars are open and free of charge to all IAMCR members, although spaces may be limited. We use the Zoom platform and pre-registration is required.
A limited number of invitations for non-members may be available.
What IAMCR will provide
IAMCR will:
- Help you promote your webinar on the IAMCR website, social media, our announcements list, and through targeted emails to IAMCR members. A promotional flyer will be created for this purpose.
- Provide the Zoom meeting platform where the webinar will be held
- Provide a registration system, issue certificates of attendance to participants requesting them.
Requirements and responsibilities of webinar organisers
Webinar organisers are expected to:
- Submit the complete application form at least 8 weeks before the planned event.
- Commit to comply with IAMCR’s statement on safe and supportive community.
- Write a short article (250 to 500 words) after the event, to be published on the IAMCR website.

Applications must be formally presented by a Section/Working Group, Task Force or Committee. The complete application form should be emailed to the Webinar Series coordinator Andrea Medrado (A.Medrado@exeter.ac.uk) with subject: IAMCR Webinar proposal: {title of your webinar}
Applications should be received at least 8 weeks before your planned webinar. The Webinar Committee will evaluate applications and respond to all complete applications within 4 weeks.
