Join colleagues and friends for the IAMCR 2026 Conference Dinner at the Galmont Hotel in the heart of Galway.
The conference dinner offers a relaxed opportunity to step away from the day’s sessions, enjoy a shared meal, and connect with fellow participants from across the IAMCR community. It is also a chance to continue conversations started during the conference and meet colleagues from around the world in an informal setting.
Overlooking Lough Atalia and just steps from the vibrant city centre, the Galmont has long been one of Galway’s premier gathering places for visitors and locals alike.
Known for its warm Irish hospitality and panoramic waterfront views, the hotel provides the perfect setting for an evening that celebrates both academic exchange and the international IAMCR community.
The dinner will also feature live music by Sin A Deir Sí, a dynamic collective of some of Ireland’s finest traditional musicians, known for their high-energy and engaging performances.
Through lively jigs, reels, folk songs, and contemporary favourites performed on traditional Irish instruments, the group offers conference participants a memorable opportunity to experience local music and culture during the conference dinner.
