Several of IAMCR's sections and working groups are holding online elections from 23 April to 14 May. Current members of IAMCR who are also registered as members of the section or working group, are eligible to stand for a position and to vote. The deadline to receive candidacies is 16 April.

The list of candidates standing for the Executive Board and International Coucil is available here. Review their statements, the nominating members, and their accompanying letters of support. Current paid-up IAMCR members are invited to endorse candidates directly on their respective pages.

IAMCR invites presenters for the upcoming IAMCR Presidential PhD Research Webinar titled "News Agencies in Transition: An Exploration of Their Current State, Challenges, and Future Prospects", convened by Jasmin Surm. The deadline to submit applications is 15 April 2024, 23h59 UTC.

IAMCR's Media Production Analysis Working Group invites proposals for the online conference “Researching Media Production in the Global South” to be held on 30 May 2024. The deadline for submissions is 30 March, 2024.
